After I filed the request, I still figured that it'd be better if I went to talk to them in person.
Well, just now I went to the Help Desk and inquired about the status of the request. A consultant told me that it had been forwarded to the network group. Unfortunately he didn't know how to get in touch with those people either. (He wanted to ask them about some Blitz glitch yesterday.) He assured me though that I will hear from them at the end of the day or on Monday at latest.
Guess patience is what we need right now.
Lesson learned: request moving before actually moving the server. This at least guarantees the uptime of the server.
